The Tenvelo app
People nearby open the app. You're on it.
The Tenvelo app shows a hungry person the venues around them, whether each is open and how each takes orders. Tap yours and they're on your own ordering page — ordering from you, not from a marketplace renting you your own customer.

Getting found
The venues around you, nearest first.
Somebody standing on your street with their phone out is the easiest customer you will ever get, and today they open an app that charges you a third of the bill to meet them.
Nearest first
The app lists the venues that have joined in order of how far away they are, so being round the corner is the advantage it ought to be.
Open, or when you open
Your trading hours are on your listing, so nobody walks to a locked door and nobody orders into an empty kitchen.
How you take orders
Collection, or ordering at the table — each listing says which, so the first tap is never the wrong one.
You choose to be listed
A venue joins from its own online ordering settings, once it has an address, a place on the map and its trading hours. Take the listing down the same way.
The order stays yours
It sends them to your page, not ours.
The app is a way of being found, not a shop you rent a shelf in. The order is placed on your own ordering page, on your own address, and it lands in the same ledger as everything else you sell.
Your menu, your prices
The page they order on is yours: the same menu as the tills, your prices, your wording and your name on the receipt.
No commission on the order
We take nothing per order. When a guest pays on the page, that payment goes through Tenvelo Payments at its one published card rate, exactly as a card at the counter does.
Your customer, when they agree
A guest has one account, and you see their details once they've agreed to share them with you. Nothing is sold on, and we don't advertise at them.
One ticket, one ledger
The order reaches the kitchen screen like any other, comes off your stock, and shows in your reports beside the counter sales.
For the guest
One account, and paying is a tap.
The less there is between deciding and ordering, the more orders you take. A guest signs in once and is done with forms.
Apple Pay and Google Pay
They pay with the card already in their phone, and the account keeps no card of its own.
Sitting down, same app
At a table they scan the code and order from the same menu, with the round landing on a tab the floor staff can see.
Ordering again is a tap
Their orders are in one place across the venues they use, so a regular reorders without re-keying anything.
Nobody has to download it
Your own ordering page works in any browser, with no app and no account. The app is for the people who want one.

Questions
Questions people ask.
- Is there a Tenvelo app for customers?
- Yes — Tenvelo, on iPhone and Android. It lists the venues that have joined, nearest first, with whether each is open and how it takes orders, and sends the guest to that venue's own ordering page.
- Do you take commission on orders from the app?
- No. There's no commission per order. The order is placed on your own ordering page, and if the guest pays there, that payment goes through Tenvelo Payments at its one published card rate, like a card at the counter.
- Do my customers have to use the app to order?
- No. Your own ordering page works in any browser with no app and no account. The app is another way of being found by people who are nearby and haven't decided yet.
- How do I get my venue listed?
- Turn it on in your online ordering settings, once the site has an address, a place on the map, its trading hours and either collection or ordering at the table. You can take the listing down whenever you like.
- Who owns the customer relationship?
- You do. They order on your page, from your menu, with your name on the receipt, and you see their details once they've agreed to share them.
- Is it a delivery app?
- No. There are no riders and no delivery fee: it's collection and ordering at the table. Your menu on the delivery apps is a separate thing, and it's on the roadmap.
