How do staff sign on to the till?
With their own PIN or a staff card. Everything they do after that is recorded against their name.
Can staff clock in on the till?
Yes. They clock in and out and take breaks on the till, even offline, and the hours flow into timesheets for you to approve.
Can I share tips between my team?
Yes. Tips recorded on payments are pooled by the hours each person worked, weighted by role if you like.
What is tronc?
A tronc is a scheme where tips are pooled and shared out by a troncmaster rather than the employer. Tenvelo works out each person's share by hours and role, and exports it for your troncmaster or payroll.
Does Tenvelo help with the tipping law?
The UK tipping law means tips must reach staff in full and be shared fairly. Tenvelo keeps tips apart from your takings and keeps a record of how each share was worked out. Your written tipping policy is still yours to set.
Can I send hours to my payroll provider?
Yes. Export approved hours, breaks and tips per site in a format payroll software imports.
