When the wifi drops

The signal drops. The queue never notices.

Plenty of tills stop when the internet does, and you only find out with a queue in front of you. Tenvelo does the work on the tablet in your hand, so a dead router, one bar of 4G in a field, or a cellar with none at all is just a normal shift.

  • The festival field
  • The cellar bar
  • The van between pitches
  • The router that gives up at noon on a Saturday

Questions

Questions people ask.

Does Tenvelo work with Deliveroo, Uber Eats and Just Eat?
Yes. Orders from the delivery apps come straight into the till and the kitchen screen, alongside your own orders, with no extra tablet for each app.
Can I have my own online ordering page?
Yes. Each site gets its own ordering page with your menu and live availability. Customers choose a collection time and pay when they collect.
Can I stop orders when we're too busy?
Yes. Pause online ordering for a site with one switch, or change the prep time customers are quoted.
Do sold-out items come off the apps?
Yes. Mark an item sold out on the till and it's unavailable on your ordering page and the delivery apps within seconds.
Do you take commission on takeaway orders?
Not on your own ordering page. Orders paid online go through Tenvelo Payments at its one published card rate, like any card payment. The delivery apps charge their own commission, recorded against each order.
