Tenvelo for restaurants
A restaurant till for tables, courses and the kitchen.
See the whole room on the table plan, fire the mains when the table's ready, and split the bill however they ask. On Android tablets, with no monthly fee for the till.
A day with Tenvelo
From the first booking to the last table paying up.
The 7:30 booking
The host sees tonight's bookings beside the table plan. When the party arrives, one tap seats them with the bill already open and their name on it.
“How long has table 6 been waiting?”
Every table shows who's serving it, how long they've been sat and what the bill has come to, so nobody has to walk the floor to find out.
Hold the mains
Take the whole order at once, send the starters, and fire the mains with one tap when the plates are cleared.
“Is there nut in the sauce?”
A regular's allergies sit on their record and flag the dish at the till and on the kitchen ticket, not in someone's memory.
Another bottle for table 9
Guests scan the code on the table, see the bill as it stands, and add a round that goes to the bar like any other order.
“Can we split it?”
Split evenly, by item or by seat, and take each share in cash or on your card machine, with the tip recorded on the sale.
When the wifi drops
The signal drops. The queue never notices.
Plenty of tills stop when the internet does, and you only find out with a queue in front of you. Tenvelo does the work on the tablet in your hand, so a dead router, one bar of 4G in a field, or a cellar with none at all is just a normal shift.

Questions
Questions people ask.
- Is Tenvelo a good EPOS for a restaurant?
- It's built for table service: a table plan, bookings, courses, a kitchen screen or printed tickets, seat numbers, split bills, and guests ordering rounds from their phone at the table.
- Do I need a screen in the kitchen?
- No. Orders can print on a kitchen printer instead, or as well. If you'd like a screen, any Android tablet can be set up as one, with a screen for each station if you want.
- Can guests order from their phone at the table?
- Yes. Each table has its own QR code. Guests see the same bill your till sees and add rounds to it. Paying by card from their phone is coming soon with Tenvelo Payments.
- Do you charge per cover for bookings?
- No. Bookings go straight into Tenvelo, with no per-cover fee, and the guest stays your customer rather than a booking site's.
- Can I take delivery orders too?
- Yes. Your own ordering page and the delivery apps send orders straight to the till and kitchen screen, so there's no extra tablet on the pass.
- How much does a restaurant EPOS system cost?
- The till app and back office are free. Plus, at £59 per site a month plus VAT, adds the table plan, kitchen screen and bookings. Pro, at £129, adds online and QR ordering. Every till is included.
